Three nights of IMPULSE on Yeongjong Island
This is a band show, so the instruments are live. Xdinary Heroes is JYP Entertainment’s six-piece rock band: Gun-il on drums, Jungsu on keys, Gaon and O.de on guitar and vocals, Jun Han on guitar, and Jooyeon on bass. They play their own instruments on stage, which is rare at a K-pop show.
Reaching Inspire Arena
The arena is out on reclaimed land by the airport, a long way from central Incheon. Here are the usual ways in:
- AREX from Seoul Station: take the all-stop train to Incheon International Airport Terminal 1 Station. The ride takes about an hour.
- Resort shuttle: Inspire’s buses run from the airport terminals to the resort entrance.
- From Incheon city or Songdo: the airport limousine buses or a taxi over the Incheon Bridge are the most direct routes.
Inside, the arena sits beside the resort’s hotel towers and an indoor street of shops and restaurants. That gives you somewhere warm to wait in mid-November, when evenings by the sea get properly cold.
Getting through the doors
Doors, start times and ticket sales come from the organisers, and they are the source for those details. Below is what fans usually do at Korean arena shows:
- Bring ID that matches your ticket. Korean concerts often check ID against the booking name at entry. Foreign fans usually carry their passport.
- Expect a merch line. The merch booth often opens hours before the show. Fans usually queue there first and then go and eat somewhere in the resort.
- Bring your lightstick. Fans use the band’s official lightstick, and it is often paired to your seat so the whole arena lights up together.
- Keep your phone down. Arena rules usually ban recording during the show, and staff do enforce it.
- Learn the fan chants. The fandom calls itself Villains, and the shouted parts are a big part of the night. Fans usually learn them from the official chant videos.
Staying the night after the encore
Most visitors from out of town stay on Yeongjong Island rather than heading back to Seoul. A Sunday encore can finish close to the last AREX trains, and taxis from the island to the city take a long time and cost a lot.
The places fans usually pick:
- Inspire’s own hotel towers: you can walk to the arena without going outside.
- Paradise City: a few minutes away by car.
- Airport business hotels: these are the cheaper choice, clustered around the airport and in Unseo-dong. Unseo-dong also has grilled-clam and kalguksu restaurants open late.
If you are flying out, this is about as easy as a concert trip gets. Terminal 1 is a short shuttle ride away, so plenty of overseas fans book a Monday morning flight home.

Take the AREX airport railway from Seoul Station to Incheon International Airport Terminal 1 Station, which takes about an hour on the all-stop train. From there, the resort's shuttle bus runs to Inspire.
Do I need ID to get in?
Korean concerts often check ID against the name on the booking at entry. Foreign fans usually carry their passport for this.
Where do fans usually stay?
Most stay on Yeongjong Island: in Inspire's own hotels, at nearby Paradise City, or in the airport business hotels around Unseo-dong. That way they avoid a late trip back to Seoul.
