October 24 in Kaohsiung
The date is Saturday, October 24, 2026. On that night TWS brings its first Asia tour, 24/7:FOR:YOU, to Taiwan’s southern port city. The Kaohsiung show is sold out.
TWS is a six-member South Korean boy group under Pledis Entertainment, the HYBE label also behind SEVENTEEN. The members are:
- Shinyu
- Dohoon
- Youngjae
- Hanjin
- Jihoon
- Kyungmin
The group debuted in January 2024 with the mini-album Sparkling Blue. Its lead single “plot twist” turned them into one of that year’s most-watched rookie acts. Their fandom is called 42.
Tickets after a sell-out
With every seat gone, the only tickets left are ones already in fans’ hands. Taiwan’s law against ticket scalping penalises reselling concert tickets above face value. Ticketing platforms in Taiwan commonly tie seats to the buyer’s name, and many fans on secondary markets have lost money to fake listings.
The tour’s dates, the venue name and the entry conditions all appear on the ticket and on the tour’s official ticketing page. That page is the reference for gate numbers, bag rules and how entry works.
Moving around Kaohsiung on show day
Kaohsiung is compact. Two MRT lines, the north–south Red Line and the east–west Orange Line, meet at Formosa Boulevard Station. There the Dome of Light glass ceiling arches over the concourse.
- By air: Kaohsiung International Airport has its own Red Line station.
- By High Speed Rail from Taipei: trains arrive at Zuoying, which is also on the Red Line.
- Fares: iPASS and EasyCard stored-value cards work on the MRT, the Circular Light Rail and city buses.
Visitors usually stay near Formosa Boulevard or Central Park stations, where most routes meet. After the encore, trains and taxis near any large Kaohsiung venue fill quickly. Many fans walk one stop before boarding.
How 42 do concert night in Taiwan
The crowd comes prepared. K-pop audiences in Taiwan typically carry the official lightstick. Many also make banners and slogans for the fan-chant sections, and the group’s chants circulate in fan communities before each tour.
Outside the venue, fans commonly trade freebies: fan-made photocards, stickers and keychains handed out for free. Merchandise lines at TWS shows tend to be among the longest queues of the day, so attendees usually come by hours before doors.
Some practical habits:
- Payment: cards and mobile pay are widespread in Taiwan. Night-market stalls are still mostly cash.
- Food after the show: Liuhe Night Market sits by Formosa Boulevard Station. Ruifeng Night Market is near Kaohsiung Arena Station on the Red Line. Each has its own nights off during the week.
- Etiquette: filming rules follow the venue’s posted policy. Fans generally keep phones below head height for the people behind them.
Many visitors turn the trip into a weekend. They pair the show with Pier-2 Art Center’s harbour-side warehouses or the Lotus Pond temples in Zuoying, close to the HSR station.
