Banlung's own airstrip is a closed gravel strip with no scheduled flights, so there is no rail line or working airport at the destination itself: travellers arrive overland by bus or minivan from Phnom Penh, the regional hub, a journey of roughly 7 to 11 hours depending on the operator and road conditions.
