Dress modestly: for men this typically means no bare chests inside sanctum areas, and for women, avoiding shorts or sleeveless tops is safer than assuming it’s fine.

Given the 4.8-star rating from thousands of reviewers, this isn’t an undiscovered spot, expect steady footfall most of the day, particularly evenings and on Mondays, which are traditionally significant for Shiva worship. Offerings of flowers, oil, or coconuts are sold by small vendors just outside the gate; these go toward the prasad and rituals inside, and most visitors buy something small on the way in.
