Five idols, rendered live
The members are real. The faces you see are not. PLAVE is a five-member virtual K-pop group from the Korean company VLAST, and they debuted in 2023. Yejun, Noah, Bamby, Eunho and Hamin perform through motion-capture avatars, so every dance move and ad-lib on the screen comes from a person moving in real time.
That makes the Keep It Manic show a different kind of K-pop concert. You still get the lightsticks, the chants and the fan service between songs. The difference is that the stage action happens on a giant display instead of on the floor in front of you, so your view of the screen counts for more than how close you are.
The date and the hall
This edition is a single Singapore date. Keep It Manic takes place on October 17, 2026, at Apex @ EXPO, a venue inside Singapore EXPO, the large exhibition and events complex beside Changi Business Park.
The organiser publishes ticket tiers, seat maps and entry rules on its official tour channels. No price appears in this guide. The ticketing page is where seat categories and bag policies are listed, and those rules differ from one K-pop tour to the next.
Getting to Apex @ EXPO
The train is the simplest way to get here. Expo MRT station sits right next to the exhibition halls. It is an interchange between two lines:
- Downtown Line (DT35), which runs through Bugis, Chinatown and the city centre
- East-West Line, Changi Airport branch (CG1), which links Tanah Merah and Changi Airport
From the city, riders on the green East-West Line usually change at Tanah Merah for the airport branch. The Downtown Line is the one-seat ride from central stops like Bugis. Covered walkways run from the station to the halls, which matters in October.
October falls in Singapore’s inter-monsoon season. Short afternoon thunderstorms are common, and the shelter between station and venue keeps most attendees dry.
How PLLI do concert day here
Singapore’s PLAVE fans, known as PLLI, follow the same habits as Korean concert crowds, with some local twists. Here is what attendees usually do:
- Merch queues form hours before doors. Fans who want specific items tend to join the official merchandise line well ahead of entry time.
- Freebie trading is part of the day. Fans hand out small fan-made gifts like stickers, photocards and keyrings, often in the open areas outside the halls.
- Lightsticks come charged. The official lightstick is the standard accessory in the stands.
Getting around has its own rules. You tap in and out of the MRT with a contactless bank card or phone wallet, so a separate transit card is optional. Eating and drinking are banned on trains and in stations, and the fines are real. Snacks bought before the show get eaten at the mall, not on the platform.
After the encore, Expo station gets very crowded. Plenty of people walk across to Changi City Point and wait for the rush to clear. Others book a ride-hail car from a pickup point away from the main exits.
Around Expo, before and after
This part of Singapore runs on office hours, and the food is where the offices are. Changi City Point, the mall opposite the EXPO complex, has a food court, chain restaurants and a supermarket. Most concertgoers grab a meal there before doors.
Out-of-town fans often stay nearby to avoid a late-night trip across the island. Business hotels around Changi Business Park, such as Capri by Fraser Changi City, are a short walk from the halls. Changi Airport is one MRT stop away. Jewel Changi Airport is linked to the terminals, with the Rain Vortex indoor waterfall and plenty of places to eat.
If you have a free day around the show, East Coast Park is a short taxi ride south. It is a long seafront strip of cycling paths and hawker food at East Coast Lagoon Food Village, and a calm contrast to an evening of lightsticks and screaming fans.
