The Redline lands in Kallang
One date, one arena. NCT 127, the SM Entertainment group, brings its Neo City: The Redline world tour to the Singapore Indoor Stadium on 18 October 2026. The Neo City name has run through the group’s concert tours since their first, and The Redline is the newest chapter.
SM Entertainment’s official NCT 127 channels carry the tour’s itinerary and ticket links. This guide does not list a setlist, prices or show times, because none were supplied to us.
Inside the Singapore Indoor Stadium
The stadium has a distinctive pagoda-style pitched roof designed by Kenzo Tange. It opened in 1989. Inside is a steeply raked bowl around a flat floor. Seating wraps the stage on three sides in most concert layouts, so even upper-tier sightlines stay fairly close for an arena this size.
What to expect on the night:
- Lightsticks: the NCT official fanlight is the standard accessory. At K-pop shows, the fanlights are usually synced to the seat map over Bluetooth, so the whole bowl changes colour together.
- Fanchants: NCTzens shout the official chant lines during the songs. Fans who learn them before the show get far more out of the night.
- Cameras: professional and detachable-lens cameras are normally refused at the door. Phones are the norm.
Getting there and getting out
Stadium MRT (CC6, Circle Line) is the closest station. Covered walkways lead from it past Kallang Wave Mall to the arena, which shares the Singapore Sports Hub site with the National Stadium. MRT gantries accept contactless bank cards and phones, so nobody needs to queue at a ticket machine.
Getting out is the bottleneck. When a full arena empties into Stadium station, the platform queues move slowly. Many attendees walk about 15 minutes west to Kallang MRT (EW10, East-West Line) or north-east to Mountbatten (CC7) and board there.
Ride-hail pickups jam the roads by the Sports Hub at the same moment. Walking a few blocks first usually means a faster car. October falls in Singapore’s inter-monsoon season, when late-day thunderstorms are common. Most of the route from the station is covered, so a compact umbrella handles the uncovered stretches.
How Singapore NCTzens work the day
At SM tours, official merchandise is sold from booths outside the venue on show day. Fans usually start queuing hours before doors open, because sizes and popular items sell out. Kallang Wave Mall is the usual place to wait it out. It has a food court, supermarkets and air-conditioning within sight of the arena.
Other things fans usually do:
- Fan freebies: fans often hand out photocards, stickers and slogans along the walkway, and swapping them is part of the day.
- Food: the mall’s eateries fill up before doors. Many attendees eat earlier at Old Airport Road Food Centre, one MRT stop away at Dakota (CC8).
- Bags: small bags make security faster. Large bags and outside food tend to slow the line at the doors.
Inside, people stay seated in their assigned rows during the songs, and standing pens apply only to floor tickets. Singaporean crowds are known for being orderly at exits. If you follow the stewards’ staggered release from the upper tiers, you will usually reach the station faster than if you push for the nearest stairwell.
