What the show is
This is a tribute production: singers and dancers covering K-pop hits live. The songbook centres on BTS, Blackpink and Twice, with other acts’ tracks mixed in. None of the idols themselves appear. What you get is choreography, harmonies and the fan chants of a stadium concert, on a smaller scale and with no fan-club presale fight.
The Paris date is Friday, December 18, 2026. That makes it a Friday-evening outing in the middle of the Christmas season. A tribute format works for mixed groups: a parent who knows “Dynamite” and a teenager who knows every fan chant both get something from the night.
The venue on Île Seguin
La Seine Musicale is hard to miss. It sits at the downstream tip of Île Seguin, the river island where Renault’s Billancourt car factory stood for most of the 20th century. Shigeru Ban and Jean de Gastines designed the building, which opened in 2017. Its main auditorium is an egg-shaped shell of woven timber and glass. A large sail of solar panels moves around it on a track, following the sun.
Inside, the complex holds two halls: the large Grande Seine and a smaller classical Auditorium. The show’s ticket names the hall. Paved riverside promenades and gardens surround the building, with bars and restaurants on the island’s esplanade. In December the open quayside catches the wind off the Seine, so attendees usually come in a proper coat.
Getting to Boulogne-Billancourt
The island is easy to reach from central Paris:
- Métro Line 9 to Pont de Sèvres (the end of the line): it’s the closest stop. Walk across the footbridge to the island in about 10 minutes.
- Tram T2 to Brimborion: the stop is on the Sèvres side of the river, handy if you’re coming from La Défense or Issy.
- Métro Line 10 to Boulogne–Pont de Saint-Cloud: a longer walk, but useful from the Left Bank.
Line 9 runs straight through the Grands Boulevards, Saint-Augustin and Trocadéro, so most visitors staying in central Paris need no change. Riding from Châtelet or Opéra usually takes around 30–40 minutes door to door.
Doors, bags and lightsticks at La Seine Musicale
Security screening is standard at large French venues. Bags get searched at the entrance, and large luggage is refused. Concertgoers usually carry a small bag and come from the airport or station after dropping cases at their hotel.
Fans at K-pop events in Paris often bring lightsticks and wear group merch. At a tribute show this is normal, not odd: the cast expects the fan chants. Contactless card payment works at the venue bars and on the Métro barriers, where a tap of a bank card or phone opens the gate.
When you reach the doors, a quick “Bonsoir” to staff is the usual French courtesy. The show’s organiser and the venue’s own site list the date, hall and ticket links. After the encore, the Pont de Sèvres platforms fill fast. Many attendees stay for a drink on the esplanade and let the first rush thin out before walking back across the bridge.
