Two nights on Manila Bay
The dates fall on a weekend. LE SSERAFIM bring their PUREFLOW world tour to Manila on Saturday, December 5 and Sunday, December 6, 2026. Both shows are at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, the city’s main indoor venue for big K-pop concerts.
The five-member group debuted under Source Music and HYBE in 2022. The line-up is Kim Chaewon, Sakura, Huh Yunjin, Kazuha and Hong Eunchae. Two nights in one city tells you how big the Filipino FEARNOT base is. Many fans go to both shows, one from the upper tier and one closer to the stage.
Inside the Mall of Asia Arena
The arena is a modern bowl that opened in 2012. Its pale curved shell sits at the bay end of the Mall of Asia complex. Its full concert capacity is roughly 20,000, and the seating rises steeply in tiers. That rake gives upper-box seats a clearer view than people tend to expect.
The organiser publishes the seat map and ticket tiers through its ticketing partner. Prices aren’t given here. The ticketing page lists every category, from standing or floor sections to the general admission rows near the roof.
- Lower and upper box: numbered seats on the sides and the far end.
- General admission: the top tier, the cheapest way in, with a full view of the lightstick ocean.
- Floor: the closest you can get, with layout depending on the stage design.
Getting to Pasay without losing the evening
Traffic decides your night here. The arena is in Pasay City’s Bay City reclamation area, about 15–25 minutes by car from NAIA terminals when the roads are clear. In December they rarely are. Malls fill with Christmas shoppers and EDSA crawls on weekend afternoons.
The usual options:
- Grab or taxi: the easiest choice, though surge pricing and slow pick-ups after the show are normal.
- EDSA Carousel bus: the dedicated busway has a Mall of Asia stop, a short walk from the arena.
- LRT-1 or MRT-3: the nearest stations are EDSA/Baclaran (LRT-1) and Taft Avenue (MRT-3). From there, jeepneys and buses signed “MOA” cover the last stretch.
After the encore, thousands of people leave at once. Many fans walk to the bayside, eat, and book a ride once the queues at the pick-up bays shrink.
How FEARNOTs do concert day
Manila K-pop shows run on fan culture as much as on the concert itself. Before doors open, fans usually set up in the open spaces around the arena to swap and hand out free fan-made gifts. These include photocards, stickers, fans and printed banners, and trading is done with a smile and a “thank you.”
The official merchandise booth draws long lines, and many attendees queue for it hours before the show. The official LE SSERAFIM lightstick is the thing to carry, since the arena glows in one coordinated colour during the set. Fan projects such as banner events and synchronized chants for each member circulate on fan accounts.
On payment and entry:
- Payment: cards and GCash are widely accepted inside the mall, and food stalls almost always take e-wallets.
- Bag checks: security screens bags at the entrances. Professional cameras and detachable lenses are typically not allowed at K-pop shows here.
- Courtesy: the people near you usually stay seated in the box sections unless the whole row stands.
Around the MOA complex
The venue sits inside one of the largest shopping complexes in Asia, so food is never far away. SM Mall of Asia’s main building has a huge food court and restaurant wings. The seaside promenade behind it faces west over Manila Bay.
That western view is the reason locals come at golden hour. The bay sunset over the water and the moored ships is a Manila staple, and the MOA Eye Ferris wheel turns beside the promenade. If you want a quieter meal, try the restaurants around Conrad Manila at the bay end, just a few minutes’ walk away.
Where concertgoers usually stay
Most out-of-town fans base themselves in Pasay or the Bay Area. You can walk to the arena from Conrad Manila and the hotels clustered around the complex. The integrated resorts along Entertainment City, including Okada Manila and City of Dreams, are a short ride south.
Others stay in Makati or BGC for more choice and a livelier evening, and accept a longer ride home. December is the dry season, with cooler evenings than the rest of the year. That makes walking the bayside after the show more comfortable.
