Two nights on the Cotai Strip
Macau got LE SSERAFIM twice. The South Korean girl group brought PUREFLOW, their second world tour, to Galaxy Arena on November 7 and 8, 2026. They were touring in support of their new album.
The five members are Kim Chaewon, Sakura, Huh Yunjin, Kazuha and Hong Eunchae. Their fans call themselves FEARNOT, and on a show weekend you can pick them out across Cotai by the merch bags and lightsticks. A second date in the same arena means two separate crowds. It also gives fans who couldn’t get into one night a second chance.
Inside Galaxy Arena
Galaxy Arena is a purpose-built indoor venue that opened in 2023. It sits inside Galaxy Macau, one of the big integrated resorts on the reclaimed land between Taipa and Coloane. With a capacity of up to 16,000, it is one of the largest indoor arenas in Macau. That makes it the obvious choice for a K-pop act at this scale.
The arena is part of the resort, so you don’t walk in from a car park. You get there through Galaxy Macau’s corridors, past shops and restaurants. That changes the rhythm of a concert night:
- Food, toilets and air conditioning are all a few minutes from the doors.
- Pre-show crowds spread out through the resort instead of queuing on a pavement.
- After the encore, thousands of people leave through the same indoor routes at once.
Getting to Galaxy Macau
Cotai is compact, and on a show weekend most visitors use the same few routes.
- From Hong Kong: the Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macao Bridge links Hong Kong to Macau by road, with cross-border buses running across it. Ferries to Taipa Ferry Terminal put you a short ride from Cotai.
- From the air: Macau International Airport is on Taipa, close to the Cotai Strip.
- Within Macau: the Taipa Line of the Macau Light Rapid Transit runs through Cotai, and taxis queue at the resort entrances.
- Resort shuttles: the big Cotai resorts, Galaxy Macau among them, run free shuttle buses from border crossings and ferry terminals. Visitors use them a lot.
If you’re coming from mainland China, the Gongbei border crossing at Zhuhai is the usual way in. Travellers from most other countries enter Macau through its own immigration, which is separate from Hong Kong’s and the mainland’s.
How Cotai works on a concert night
Fans usually treat the resort as a base, not just a venue. A lot of attendees stay at Galaxy Macau or one of its neighbours along the strip. That way the trip home is a walk down a corridor, not a taxi queue.
A few local habits help:
- Money: Macau’s currency is the pataca, and Hong Kong dollars are widely accepted at close to par. Resort shops and restaurants take cards. Mobile wallets such as Alipay and Macau’s own MPay are common at counters.
- Casino floors: you have to be 21 to go onto a gaming floor in Macau. Younger fans walking through the resort stick to the shopping and dining areas, and staff do check.
- Language: Cantonese is the main local language, and resort staff work in English and Mandarin too. Signage is in Chinese, Portuguese and usually English.
- Fan trades: K-pop fans often swap small handmade freebies, such as photo cards, stickers and keyrings, in the areas outside the arena before a show. Bringing a few of your own to trade is part of the fun.
After the encore: eating late in Taipa
When a show lets out, everyone starts moving at once. Resort restaurants and food courts fill up fast, and a lot of fans head out of the resort for dinner instead.
Taipa Village is a short taxi ride from Cotai. Its small lanes around Rua do Cunha are known for Macanese snacks, and there’s more to eat than you’ll get through in one evening:
- Portuguese-style egg tarts, with flaky pastry and a custard caramelised on top
- Pork chop buns, a fried pork chop in a crusty roll
- Almond cookies and peanut candy from the lane-side bakeries
- Serradura, a chilled dessert of cream layered with biscuit crumbs
Earlier in the day, the restored Taipa Houses-Museum gives you some old Macau before the arena lights. These are colonial-era villas painted in pale green, set beside the old waterfront.
Making a weekend of it
Two show dates on a Saturday and Sunday make the trip easy to plan. Fans who came for one night often spend the other day on the Macau peninsula.
The Historic Centre of Macau is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its best-known landmarks are close together:
- Ruins of St. Paul’s: the stone facade of a 17th-century church at the top of a wide flight of steps
- Senado Square: wave-patterned Portuguese stone paving, with colonial buildings on all sides
- A-Ma Temple: one of the oldest temples in the city, built on a hillside by the inner harbour
Buses and taxis link Cotai to the peninsula over the bridges, and the ride takes about half an hour. The peninsula is busiest around St. Paul’s, so a lot of visitors start at A-Ma Temple and work their way north on foot.
Where the official details live
The tour promoter and Galaxy Arena are where you’ll find dates, venue information and ticket links for PUREFLOW in Macau. LE SSERAFIM’s own channels, run through their label Source Music under HYBE, cover the wider world tour.
Only those official sources set prices and seating plans, so this guide doesn’t list either. Tickets for big K-pop shows also get resold unofficially. Fans stick to the official sources because the venue may refuse tickets that didn’t come through them.
