A solo night on the Cotai Strip
This show belongs to one voice. The YESUNG Tour plays Broadway Macau on November 14, 2026, and it is a solo concert by Yesung, the Super Junior member fans know best for carrying the group’s highest, cleanest notes.
On a group stage he shares the spotlight with a dozen bandmates. This night is his alone, in a smaller room on Macau’s casino strip in Cotai, where the distance between the stage and the back rows is short.
The singer behind the name
Yesung’s real name is Kim Jong-woon. He debuted with Super Junior in 2005 as one of the group’s main vocalists. Later he joined the ballad-focused subunit K.R.Y. with Kyuhyun and Ryeowook.
His solo career started in 2016 with the mini-album Here I Am. Since then his solo work has leaned towards ballads and soft pop rock rather than the group’s dance tracks. A solo set from him usually runs on emotion more than choreography: long held notes, piano and band arrangements, and talking with the crowd between songs.
The fandom is ELF, short for Ever Lasting Friends. Many fans at a Macau date fly in from Hong Kong, mainland China, Taiwan and Southeast Asia, so you will hear Cantonese, Mandarin, Korean and English in the queues.
Broadway Macau: the room and the street
Broadway Macau is part of the Galaxy Macau resort complex in Cotai, and it is built differently from the giant casinos around it. Its main feature is the open-air Broadway Food Street, a pedestrian lane of Macanese and Hong Kong-style eateries. That gives concert-goers a spot to eat and wait that has nothing to do with gaming floors.
Concerts here are held in the Broadway Theatre, a raked indoor auditorium. It is far smaller than an arena, which is the point of booking a solo vocalist into it.
Nearby by name:
- Galaxy Macau, next door, with its hotels, shops and restaurants
- The Venetian Macao and The Londoner Macao, a short walk or taxi ride across Cotai
- Taipa Village and Rua do Cunha, a short taxi ride north, for Portuguese-style egg tarts and pork chop buns
Getting to Cotai
Most visitors come in through one of three entry points:
- Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal, for ferries from Hong Kong’s Sheung Wan
- Taipa Ferry Terminal, closer to Cotai, also served from Hong Kong
- Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macao Bridge port, for the cross-border shuttle buses
From any of these, Galaxy Macau’s free hotel shuttle buses are the route most fans use, because they stop a short walk from Broadway. Taxis queue at every terminal, and the drive to Cotai from the Taipa side is short. Visitors from mainland China usually cross at the Gongbei border gate from Zhuhai and take a shuttle or taxi from the Barrier Gate side.
What ELF do on concert night
Concert night has its own routine. Fans typically gather along Broadway Food Street hours before the show, swapping freebies outside the theatre: photocards, stickers, small printed slogans. If you are new to the fandom, bring something small to give away. Hardly anyone refuses a trade.
A few habits attendees usually follow:
- Light sticks. Super Junior’s official light stick is a common sight, and a solo show is no exception.
- Cameras. K-pop concerts usually ban professional cameras and detachable lenses. Most fans film on phones, and staff sometimes enforce this strictly.
- Fanchants. Korean fanchants carry over to solo shows. Fans who go to concerts regularly learn them from fan accounts beforehand.
- Payment. Macau’s currency is the pataca, and Hong Kong dollars are widely accepted at Cotai resorts. Cards and mobile wallets such as MPay, Alipay and WeChat Pay are common at the food street.
Seat maps, ticket tiers and entry rules belong to the concert’s ticketing partner. Ticket prices and door times are not part of this guide.
Making a weekend of it
Most fans flying in stay two nights rather than one. After the show, the lanes around Galaxy and Broadway keep running late. Many attendees stay on the Cotai side so the walk back is short.
The next day, Macau’s old city is a quick taxi ride across the bridges. The Ruins of St. Paul’s, Senado Square and the steep lanes around Monte Fort pack well into a morning. Taipa Village is the closer choice for a slow lunch before the ferry home.
